One of the leaders of Juventus, Beppe Marotta, confirmed that the club is nearing the end of negotiations and should soon acquire Villarreal forward Giuseppe Rossi.
This 24-year-old footballer was sought after by several top European teams this summer, but it seems he will return to his native Italy.
"Rossi? We are approaching an agreement, but it is true that we are also looking at other players," Marotta said. "We are working tirelessly, but we have many goals."
Rossi, who scored eighteen goals in 36 matches in the Spanish league, is valued at 25 million euros. Additionally, as part of the deal, Juventus defender Felipe Melo is likely to move to Spain.
