London strategist Arsene Wenger has confirmed that the club will be adding forward Gervinho for around 12 million euros.
The Ivory Coast national team member scored 15 goals last season and helped Lille win the French championship title after a 57-year hiatus.
"The deal was completed last Thursday, and now Gervinho is in London," Wenger said at a press conference, where his players are currently on a tour of Asia.
Gervinho became Arsenal's second summer signing. Earlier, Charlton defender Carl Jenkinson was acquired.
