Belgium national team defender Axel Witsel is leaving Liege's "Standard" and officially moving to a club in Lisbon.
The 22-year-old footballer has signed a five-year contract. He has transferred to the Portuguese team for approximately 7-8 million euros.
Witsel also attracted interest from "Man Utd" and "Milan", and he played for Liege's team for more than ten years.
In 2008, Witsel was named the best Belgian footballer.
