Barcelona goalkeeper Carlos Kameni failed to reach an agreement with Espanyol, so he will start preparing for the season with the Catalan team.
Espanyol allowed the footballer to negotiate with an Italian club, which offered about 5 million euros, but the Cameroonian's negotiations with Roma broke down.
Although the possibility of a deal is not completely ruled out, it is claimed that Kameni is unlikely to end up in Rome.
The 27-year-old player is also of interest to London's Fulham.
