London strategist Arsene Wenger confirmed that midfielder Denilson will return to his native Brazil.
The 23-year-old footballer arrived in London from Sao Paulo in 2006, but recently lost his place in the main lineup. After playing only 16 matches in the English championship, Denilson will be loaned to an unnamed club.
"I will spend next season in Brazil, because there I will have more opportunities to play," Denilson said. "It's hard to leave Arsenal, because I have many friends here."
In total, Denilson wore the Arsenal shirt 153 times and scored ten goals.
