Chile national team midfielder Arturo Vidal has confirmed that he will leave Leverkusen in the near future and move to Turin.
The value of the deal will reach 10.5 million euros, and the player himself will sign a five-year contract. According to it, he will earn 3.5 million euros per season.
"I am very happy. This is a big and important step in my career, as I will represent one of the biggest clubs in Europe," said defensive midfielder Vidal.
A new team is being built with the goal of becoming a champion and competing in European cup tournaments. The experience gained in Germany will be useful to me, as tactically, football is played similarly in Italy.
Vidal was also of interest to Bayern Munich, but Bayer did not want to sell one of their leaders to another German team.
