The club acquired the left-back Alex Sandro from Santos for 9.6 million euros and signed a five-year contract with him.
The 20-year-old footballer, whose new contract includes a buyout clause of 50 million euros, won the Copa Libertadores tournament this year with the Brazilian team.
In the winter, the Portuguese champions will also be strengthened by the versatile right-back player Danilo, for whom Porto did not hesitate to spend 13 million euros to acquire from Santos.
