Former Real Madrid defender Mahamadou Diarra is training with Lyon club and may soon sign a contract.
The Mali defender joined the Spanish team from Lyon for an impressive sum of 26 million euros. However, his career did not go very well in the Real team.
In the second part of the last season, Diarra played in France, but his efforts were not enough to keep Monaco in the top league. Now the footballer is a free agent, so he can negotiate with any club.
He wore Lyon's jersey for five seasons until 2006.
