In the matches of Brazilian youth teams, outbreaks of violent behavior are unavoidable.
The "Sport Recife" club fired goalkeeper, 18-year-old Gustavo, after he ninja-style jumped in the air and hit "Vasco da Gama" player Elivelton on the neck.
It is not clear exactly what caused the boy's outburst, but the victim had to call for emergency assistance.
"I want to apologize for the completely unacceptable behavior of the goalkeeper. We do not tolerate such behavior, so we fired him. Nobody can act like that," said "Sport Recife" manager Gustavo Debeux.
The incident occurred at the end of the match, which "Vasco" won 3-1.
