Argentinian Sergio Aguero arrived in Manchester, where he will finalize formalities before signing a contract with Manchester City. Real Madrid agreed to sell the 23-year-old forward to the English club for 43 million euros.
"Just arrived in Manchester to finalize formalities. Everything is going great," Aguero wrote on the social network "Twitter."
Earlier it was reported that the footballer could replace Carlos Tevez in England, who wants to leave the team due to family reasons. Although the sale of Tevez stalled after negotiations with Sao Paulo Corinthians, Manchester City decided not to stop the deal with Atletico Madrid.
"I hoped that Sergio could leave in a different way, showing more love for the Atletico club," expressed disappointment the coach of the Madrid team, Gregorio Manzano.
Aguero, who is married to the daughter of the legendary Diego Maradona, Giannina, scored 20 goals in 32 matches in the previous Spanish league season.
