The 23-year-old footballer has worn the shirts of Madrid's "Atletico" for the past five seasons. The Spaniards received an impressive compensation of more than 43 million euros for him.
It was believed that Aguero would replace another striker, Carlos Tevez, in Manchester, who does not hide his desire to leave England due to family circumstances. However, negotiations for his transfer to San Paulo's "Corinthians" were interrupted, so the possibility that he will stay in the team is not ruled out for now.
The "Man City" newcomer started his career at his native Argentina's "Independiente" club, from which he moved to "Atletico" in 2006. In 175 matches for the Spanish team, he scored 74 goals.
Interestingly, Aguero is married to the legendary Diego Maradona's daughter, Giannina, and is raising a son.
