This summer, London's security guard Abou Diaby underwent a heel operation, which will force the footballer to miss the beginning of the new season.
The 25-year-old member of the French national team did not participate in the team's preparation camp in Germany and did not go on a tour to Asia.
The 'Gunners' coach Arsene Wenger plans for Diaby to miss the English Premier League matches against Newcastle, Liverpool, and Man Utd clubs.
"If everything goes well, he should be ready to play after 8-10 weeks after the operation. This means at the end of August," Wenger said.
