Jurgen Klinsmann has officially been appointed as the new head coach of the United States national team. The German, who lives in the USA, will replace Bob Bradley, who was dismissed after four and a half years in the job. "I am proud and honored to have received this opportunity," said 46-year-old Klinsmann. "I am looking forward to the new challenge." Klinsmann's debut will take place in a match against Mexico on August 10th. During his career, the coach has trained the German national team, with whom he achieved a third-place finish in the 2006 World Cup, as well as Bayern Munich club.
