Captain Steven Gerrard will not be able to play due to a groin injury until September.
The 31-year-old footballer is currently in the hospital, as he is being treated with antibiotics for an infection.
In March of this year, he underwent surgery, which prevented the Englishman from playing until the end of the season.
It is certain that Gerrard will not play in the first match of the new season in the English Premier League against Sunderland, as well as miss matches against London Arsenal and Bolton.
