After a few hours of bus travel, which started early Monday morning, the team reached Minsk, where they stayed until the upcoming UEFA Champions League match against BATE Borisov. The beginning of the most important matches of the season - today at 7 p.m.
On Monday, upon arrival in Minsk, the team stayed at a comfortable hotel and spent time there until the evening training. In order to avoid unnecessary team fatigue by traveling by bus to Borisov and back to the hotel in Minsk where the team was staying, the team trained in the capital.
After the evening training in Minsk, the center-back Ignas Dedura said that in the upcoming match the most important thing is to defend well against potential opponent pressure and take advantage of opportunities to catch opponents off guard with quick attacks. According to the player, the team will give their all to achieve a favorable result.
- How did you rest after Saturday's match?
- Well, there wasn't much time, but we rested as much as we could to recover our strength. The match will show.
- The first match ended goalless, tomorrow both teams will be looking to score.
- If the opponents end the match with zero goals, and we manage to score, such a result will satisfy us.
- What do you think, what strategy will BATE rely on tomorrow?
- Initially, there will be strong pressure from their side, I think. At home, they will want to score quickly. So first, we'll have to withstand their pressure, and later on, create something ourselves. We want to win, we will give our all for victory, well, or for a positive result that would allow us to advance to the next stage.
