They purchased goalkeeper Sebastien Frey for an undisclosed amount.
The 31-year-old footballer signed a five-year contract, under which he will earn 1.8 million euros per season. He will replace Eduardo at Genoa, who left for Benfica in Lisbon this summer.
This summer, Fiorentina coach Sinisa Mihajlovic admitted that Frey is not guaranteed the starting goalkeeper position for the upcoming season, as he faces competition from Artur Boruc and Neto.
Genoa has already strengthened their squad this offseason with players such as Andreas Granqvist, Alexander Merkel, and Valter Birsa.
