Paul Scholes scored a great goal in his farewell match, as "Man Utd" crushed New York Cosmos 6-0.

The 36-year-old veteran, who retired after last season, scored his first goal in the packed Old Trafford stadium with a long-range shot.

The Englishman played until the 75th minute, and then, accompanied by applause from the crowd, left the field.

In total, Scholes played 676 matches and scored 150 goals for "Man Utd" over 17 years. He even managed to win the English Premier League ten times.

Other goals were scored by Wayne Rooney, Anderson, Danny Welbeck, and Birama Diouf, who scored twice.
