The London club, according to various sources, acquired Costa Rican national team striker Joel Campbell for a sum ranging from 1 to 4 million euros.
The 19-year-old footballer, who represented the team "Deportivo Saprissa", will have to finalize the formalities before putting his signature on the contract.
"He has proven to be a talented striker who performed well on the international stage," said Arsene Wenger.
This summer, Campbell participated in the "Copa America" tournament and scored a goal against the Bolivian national team. In total, he represented his country six times.
