In Argentina, youths robbed and beat a judge (VIDEO) © EuroFootball.com

Working as a referee in Argentina is dangerous. This was confirmed by an arbitrator who was officiating in a youth (up to 17 years old) match.

In a duel of the Fifth League, "Union San Guillermo" and "Atletico Tostado" clashed. After the referee noted a gap in the middle of the field and soon made an unforgivable mistake - showing a yellow card to the wrong footballer - chaos erupted.

Players attacked the referee and started beating him. Adult team leaders joined in. The referee had no choice but to run, and the only way he could feel safe was by climbing a high fence.
