In the German championship on Sunday, two more matches of the second round were played.
The Leverkusen team "Bayer" won their first victory of the season, defeating Bremen's "Werder" 1-0 at home with a late goal.
The only goal in the slow match was scored by Michal Kadlec in the 85th minute. Initially, the Czech's shot was blocked by the defenders, but after receiving a pass from Simon Rolfes for the second time, he managed to beat the opponents' goalkeeper.
In the other match, "Kaiserslautern" scored their first points at home against the league newcomer "Augsburg", ending the game with a 1-1 draw.
The visitors took the lead after Sascha Molders' shot, but the pressure from the hosts paid off and Itay Schechter scored the equalizer.
