In the postponed second leg of the Italian Cup quarterfinals on Wednesday, Milan's "Inter" and Bergamo's "Atalanta" clashed - this match was played on this Wednesday because of the Champions League matches of both Milan clubs sharing the "San Siro" stadium.

"Inter" already had a one-goal advantage obtained in the away match, and team coach Roberto Mancini gave more playing time to substitutes, who did not disappoint their teammates and crushed the opponents occupying the last place in the "Serie A" league with a score of 3-0.

The hosts scored the first goal after a little over half an hour, as J.Cruzas exchanged passes with A.Recoba, and the latter put his team ahead. Just five minutes later, Turk Emre doubled the score, and in the beginning of the second half after Recoba's pass, Cruzas headed the ball into the goal.

So "Inter" beat "Atalanta" with an overall score of 4-0 and advanced to the semifinals, where they will meet the winner of the "Cagliari" and "Sampdoria" pair.
