London is expecting to acquire Real Madrid midfielder Lassana Diarra for 12 million euros in the near future.
The 26-year-old footballer has been playing in Spain since 2008, when he was bought from Portsmouth for 22 million euros.
Having worn the jersey of the French national team 28 times during his career, Diarra has also played for teams such as Le Havre, Chelsea, and Arsenal in London.
Tottenham is also negotiating with Man City for the acquisition of striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
