According to the press in England and France, one of the wealthiest football clubs on the planet, London, is actively interested in the young talent of their team, Lucien Aubejum. It is reported that the London club may try to acquire the player from the French youth national team already this summer.
The twenty-year-old defender from Chelsea has attracted the attention of several European football giants after a series of particularly successful performances in the French championship. Despite his young age, L. Aubejum has been a key player in the main squad of the Toulouse club for the past three years. This season he has already played in 24 matches.
The player himself does not seem inclined to leave his current club and recently signed a new contract valid until 2009. However, the French newspaper "L'Equipe" has already rushed to report that the young talent is actively being monitored not only by Chelsea, but also by several Italian and French clubs.
