Police rescued the father of John Obi Mikel, who had been kidnapped by criminals in London.
Lately, there has been an increase in cases where attempts are made to kidnap family members of wealthy players and demand ransom.
Despite this unfortunate incident with a happy ending, Mikel returned to the field in matches with both "Stoke" and "West Brom".
