The Italian league voted against signing a new collective agreement, taking another step towards a strike. Clubs, before putting their signature, want coaches to have the right to remove players from the main team and ask them to train separately. In addition, they demand that the highest-earning players pay a solidarity tax. Players' representatives have not agreed to these conditions yet. If an agreement is not reached, they plan to go on strike and not start the season, which is scheduled to start this weekend. It is worth noting that a strike is currently taking place in Spain as well. It may continue for a second week.
