Two defenders should leave the club in the near future: Alberto Aquilani is one step away from moving to AC Milan, while Joe Cole is in the sights of London.
Aquilani's representatives in Liverpool are negotiating with the leaders of Milan. According to them, an agreement should be reached soon.
"I will stay here in Liverpool until we reach an agreement," said Italian agent Franco Zavaglia. "Alberto has chosen Milan and wants to play there."
It is said that at first he would be loaned out, and after playing a certain number of matches - about 20 - he would automatically become a member of Milan. Then Liverpool would receive about 6-8 million euros.
Meanwhile, Tottenham coach spoke about Joe Cole, who has not been registered for any matches this season: "I like him because he is a good footballer. We haven't contacted Liverpool yet, but I would be lying if I said I wouldn't want to see him in our team."
With these two footballers most likely leaving, Liverpool will add defender Sebastian Coates from Nacional. The Uruguayan's price will be around 9 million euros.
