Istanbul confirmed that they agreed to sell defender Diego Lugano to the "Paris St.Germain" club for 3 million euros.
The Turkish team has been involved in a corruption scandal and is facing financial difficulties, so they are refusing the services of foreign players.
Meanwhile, this summer they have already spent over 80 million euros on new footballers and hope that the leader of the Uruguayan national team will help fill gaps in defense.
In July, Lugano helped Uruguay win the "Copa America" tournament.
