Striker Danny Welbeck, who suffered a hamstring injury, dropped out of the lineup for about a month.
The striker, who has been in excellent form this season and has been playing in the main lineup, got injured during Sunday's English championship match against London's "Arsenal."
Welbeck will also not be able to help the England youth national team (under 21), which will play against Azerbaijan and Israel in September.
"Danny complained of pain, but we didn't have time to replace him with Javier Hernandez and the injury occurred," said Sir Alex Ferguson.
Before suffering the injury, Welbeck managed to score a goal against "Arsenal."
