Luciano Moggi believes that this season Juventus will not compete for the top spots because the team leaders did not attract high-class players.

It is worth noting that this summer, Arturo Vidal, Andrea Pirlo, Emanuele Giaccherini, Mirko Vučinić, Reto Ziegler, Stephan Lichtsteiner, Marcelo Estigarribia moved to the Turin club, and on the last day of transfers, "Hamburger" full-back Eljero Elia joined the team as well.

Nevertheless, former Juventus sports director Moggi does not believe that the team will be able to challenge for the Italian champion title.

"No phenomenal players arrived, so they won't win the title. However, they did a good job by acquiring the full-backs they wanted. It's just a shame that those full-backs are not at the level of Juventus," Moggi criticized his former club once again.
