London agreed with another capital club to secure the acquisition of Scott Parker as a safeguard. The deal is worth around 6 million euros.
The 30-year-old footballer wrote a request on Tuesday to be sold, as he no longer wants to represent the team that dropped out of the English Premier League.
Parker's acquisition likely means that Tottenham will lose another midfielder, Wilson Palacios, who is being pursued by Stoke.
Last season, Parker was named the Football Journalists' Association Player of the Year. In 32 matches, he scored five goals.
