President Luis Alvaro denied rumors that they had agreed to acquire Brazilian team's striker Neymar.

The newspaper "Estado de Sao Paolo" reported on Saturday that the Spanish champions had agreed to pay 60 million euros for the football player. The deal, according to the report, was supposed to take place in January 2013.

But Alvaro insisted that this was not true: "This information is made up and incorrect. We have not signed any agreements with either Neymar himself."

The 19-year-old striker is attracting interest from almost all of the most powerful European clubs, including Real Madrid, Chelsea, and others.
