London's security Jack Wilshere will not be able to play for two to three months due to an ankle injury.
The England national team player got injured during a friendly match against New York Red Bulls on the last day of July.
Initially, it was expected that the 19-year-old footballer would return to the field in a few days, but the optimistic forecasts did not come true.
This is another blow to the Arsenal team, which sold two main safeties in the summer: Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri. However, in their place, Mikel Arteta and Yossi Benayoun were acquired.
