Vice President Josep Maria Bartomeu admits that the Spanish champions managed to acquire Cesc Fabregas for a lower price than he is worth.
After lengthy negotiations, the Catalan club reached an agreement with London for a compensation of 29 million euros, which could increase to 39 million euros according to additional conditions.
In an interview with the newspaper "Sport," Bartomeu said: "Seeing how he works with us, I must say that the initial request of 60 million euros from 'Arsenal' is probably fair.
The guy demonstrates a high level, and he has only been training with us for three weeks. So, this deal is very successful for us. In an open market, Cesc is worth more."
