Devastating defeat for the German national team on Friday cost the job to Austria's national team coach Didi Constantini.
The specialist will step down in December when his contract expires. Austria has already lost hope of qualifying for the 2012 European Championship final tournament.
A new coach will be appointed in the near future. It is expected that he will be able to lead the team in a friendly match in November.
Meanwhile, Constantini will be at the helm for the remaining matches of the Old Continent qualifying tournament against Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
