Zlatan Ibrahimovic insists that the strengthened club remains the favorite to win the Italian championship this summer.
The team defending the title has been bolstered by defenders Philippe Mexes and Taye Taiwo, as well as midfielders Alberto Aquilani and Antonio Nocerino.
"We are the favorites because the squad has been strengthened," the Swede told Gazzetta dello Sport. "We are better than last season - I am happy with the new additions."
The striker also expressed impatience for the start of the season, which was delayed due to a strike.
