Germany is known for its high level of culture, but there are also some curious incidents that happen here.
The country's football federation imposed a fine of 10 thousand euros on the "Koln" club, whose fans threw plastic containers with excrement and urine at the opponents.
On August 13, Gelzenkirchen's "Schalke" fans became the target of "Koln" fans, who were sitting slightly below the "clever" visiting hooligans. Their actions did not help to win: "Schalke" celebrated a 5-1 victory.
"Koln" agreed to pay the fine and promised to conduct an investigation into the unsporting behavior of the fans.
