Vice president Adriano Galliani calls Tuesday's Champions League match the "World Derby".
According to the 67-year-old Italian, it will be the most successful battle between teams with history.
In an interview with the newspaper "Gazzetta dello Sport", Galliani stated: "Barcelona is the best club in the world at the moment, but Milan has won the most titles. Therefore, we can call this match the 'World Derby'."
He added: "It's great that the Champions League season is starting with such a match, as it is a true football celebration."
"Milan" has triumphed in the Champions League seven times and lost in the semi-finals four times. Only Real Madrid has won more trophies, lifting the cup nine times.
