London strategist Andre Villas Boas is eagerly awaiting Sunday's crucial match in the English championship against "Man Utd."
On Tuesday, the capital team defeated Leverkusen's Bayer 2-0 in the Champions League, so they will travel to Manchester in high spirits.
"We will seek to achieve victory," said the Portuguese. "This will be a great match to start the season. The most important factors will be motivation and the ability to push ourselves to perform even better than usual - then we can bring home a victory from Old Trafford stadium."
Villas Boas did not reveal whether the Spanish player Fernando Torres, who made two assists in the match against Bayer, will start in the lineup.
"I will have to make a decision. There are still a few more training sessions ahead, so Fernando will have to compete with four other players in that position," he confirmed.
It is unclear whether the recovering from injury Didier Drogba will be able to appear in the match in Manchester.
