Cristiano Ronaldo is confident that the Madrid team led by Jose Mourinho will not leave this season without trophies.
Last season, the capital club won the Spanish King's Cup, but in both the national championship and the Champions League, they had to admit the superiority of their fierce rival, "Barcelona."
"There is no doubt: with Mourinho we are stronger," Ronaldo told TVI. "The facts of his career speak for themselves. Wherever Mourinho goes, he wins. This coach is one of the best in the world, so I really want to win trophies with him."
He continued: "Real" is the richest club in the world, and has won the Champions League the most times. Therefore, we understand the expectations and feel the pressure as we walk down the street, but that's good.
A team like this cannot go on for long without winning the most important trophies - the Spanish championship or the Champions League. I am sure that this will change this year. We are on the right path, we started the season well, so we just need to hope for success."
