n the German championship, four matches have been played so far.

The country's vice-champion "Bayer" suffered a devastating defeat at home, losing 1-4 to "Koln", who brought home a victory from Leverkusen after a 15-year break.

Lukas Podolski scored two goals for the winners, while Milivoje Novakovic and Mato Jajalo scored once each.

The hosts got a consolation goal in the 70th minute from Simon Rolfes. Additionally, "Bayer" ended the match with less than a full squad: just before the final whistle, Andre Schurrle saw a red card.
