Ranieri: "Inter" players are used to winning, so I expect nothing else from them © EuroFootball.com

Claudio Ranieri does not hide his joy after becoming the new coach of Inter Milan and promises to find the way to victories.

The experienced specialist replaced Gian Piero Gasperini, who worked for just three months and was dismissed due to poor results.

"I feel so many emotions," said Ranieri. "It is only because of them that I am a coach. I am proud to become part of the 'Nerazzurri' family.

We need to regain confidence in our abilities. When it comes to results, there is no time to wait - they need to be achieved as quickly as possible."

At the beginning of this year, Ranieri left the team of Roma and has been working as a television commentator since then. He was surprised to receive the offer from Inter.

"I must admit, I was amazed. I was ready to go abroad to work, but receiving a call from Inter can only make me proud," said Ranieri.

"I'm starting a new journey, and winning trophies with this team would be amazing. Just a year and a half ago, many of these players were champions, so it is possible to expect that they will rise again after a slump."

And he added: "I want to see that united team again that never gave up. The most important thing is results. The players are used to winning, so it's time to do it again.
