Madrid President Florentino Perez calls Jose Mourinho the best coach in the world and hopes to win the Champions League tournament for the tenth time this season.
Speaking at the club's general assembly, Perez said: "We trust this team and the best coach in the world: Jose Mourinho. He understands perfectly what it means to do this job. We want to win the European trophy for the 10th time in history, but it is important to remember that two years ago, at the beginning of a new era, Real Madrid was not even in the first basket of capabilities."
He continued: "Last season we reached the semi-finals - the first time since 2002-2003. In the group stage, we collected the most points among all teams, scored the most goals, and conceded the fewest."
At the moment, in the Spanish championship, the Madrid club is in fifth place, and in the Champions League, they will play against Ajax from Amsterdam on Tuesday."
