Almost two months ago, Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, who missed the last goal, hopes to achieve an impressive result - to keep his goal "dry" for 1000 minutes of pure play.
The German club has won ten matches in a row and has not conceded a single goal in 928 minutes. The last and only time Neuer was beaten this season was by Monchengladbach's "Borussia" forward Igor de Camargo, who took advantage of Neuer's mistake on August 7th and secured his team's 1-0 victory.
"The whole team deserves credit, because it's not just one player defending," Neuer humbly remarked.
However, Neuer still lacks a few "dry" matches from breaking records: the best result in Europe has been achieved by Belgian Dany Verlinden from the "Brugge" club, who did not allow opponents to score for 1390 minutes.
The best result in the world has been demonstrated by Brazilian Matosas Filho Mazaropi from "Vasco da Gama", who was an "unbreakable wall" for 1816 minutes.
