The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has handed a two-match suspension to the Madrid strategist who poked his finger in the eye of his opponent. The incident occurred during the Spanish Super Cup match against Barcelona in August. Amid the scuffle, Mourinho approached Barcelona's assistant coach Tito Vilanova and poked his finger in his eye, which angered and pushed the Portuguese, resulting in him having to miss one game. Additionally, both offenders will have to pay a fine of 600 euros, with Real Madrid having to pay 180 euros and Barcelona 90 euros. However, these sanctions apply only to the Spanish Super Cup tournament.
