Chairman of the London Board, Bruce Buck, hopes that Andre Villas Boas will coach the team for at least 10-15 years.
The 33-year-old specialist started working this summer when "Chelsea" paid a compensation of 15 million euros and arrived from the "Porto" club.
"We envy 'Arsenal' for Arsene Wenger and 'Man Utd' for Sir Alex Ferguson a little, because these specialists have been coaching for a very long time. However, that is not a goal in itself," said Buck.
"We need to find the right man who could successfully lead the team for 10-15 years. Considering Andre's age, he seriously aspires to become one."
And he added: "Everyone thinks that Villas Boas' age is a negative aspect, but we see it as a positive."
