Before facing the "Norwich" team, team goalkeeper Anderson hopes to score a double-digit number of goals this season.
It took 78 matches for the Brazilian to finally defeat the opponents' goalkeeper while wearing the 'red devils' jersey for the first time, and then he was able to score only once more after 17 months. However, this season the footballer has already scored 5 goals in 11 matches.
"I have a goal - to score at least 10 times," said Anderson. "I will try my best to score even more goals."
After Paul Scholes retired, "Man Utd" was looking for someone who could replace the productive Englishman, and Anderson, bringing consistency to his game, seems to be able to do that.
"I can say that this is the best start of the season for me, as I haven't played five or six matches in a row at the beginning of the season," the Brazilian continued. "It's nice to be in the lineup and contribute to the victories.
I feel like this is my time. I trained hard, took care of myself, and the boss gave me a chance. It is important that I take advantage of it and show everyone why I am in this team."
