Madrid leader Cristiano Ronaldo is sure that football fans enjoy watching his game.
Portugal often faces hostile insults and chants of "Messi", emphasizing that the best football player on the planet is not him, but the Argentine Lionel Messi.
However, this does not bother the "Real" forward: "I don't think about such things when I'm on the pitch. I don't think most spectators do that. I am sure that everyone who likes football enjoys watching C.Ronaldo."
The Portuguese national team member spoke with journalists before Tuesday's European Championship qualifying match against Denmark. In order to maintain the first place in the group, the Portuguese only need to avoid losing in the last match in Copenhagen. In case of failure, there is a risk of dropping to third place and not qualifying for the next year's championship in Poland and Ukraine.
"We came here to win. We know that a draw would be enough, but as always, we do not want to think about any result other than victory. I hope the match will be good," he said.
And added: "I feel pain because I play a lot both for the national team and the club. My workload in training is limited. However, those who know me, know that I always give 100 percent."
