Eto'o could return to the "Inter" team © EuroFootball.com

Samuel Eto'o may return to the Milan club at the beginning of next year.

The Cameroonian left the Italian team this summer and signed a lucrative contract with Anzhi Makhachkala. However, Eto'o could take advantage of the break in the Russian championship and wear the Nerazzurri jersey again.

The winter break in Russia will start on November 6th and will last until the beginning of March. In theory, Eto'o could return to Serie A from January 2nd, maintaining his fitness and avoiding the winter cold.

"I think it could happen," said Inter president Massimo Moratti, adding that Anzhi's leaders should support it.

Eto'o will not play in the African Nations Cup tournament, as he did not make it into the Cameroon national team.

In the Russian championship, the striker scored three goals in five matches.
