Wojciech Szczesny does not deserve to be the main goalkeeper of London and the Polish national team, according to Lukasz Fabianski, who lost this position.
The 21-year-old footballer made his debut in the English championship last December, and secured his place in the main lineup from the new year, as Fabianski suffered a shoulder injury.
Although he made mistakes, Szczesny remained the first choice of coach Arsene Wenger, not causing positive emotions to Fabianski.
"If it wasn't for my injury, Wojciech wouldn't be where he is today," complained the 26-year-old Pole to Evening Standard. "I would play in the main lineup, because I lost this place not because I performed poorly, but because of the injury.
The same goes for the Polish national team. I did not disappoint the coach, because when I could, I performed well."
This season, Fabianski played only one match in the English league cup tournament.
