The Bilbao "Athletic" team won their second consecutive victory, the only Monday match of the Spanish championship, beating Pamplona's "Osasuna" 3-1.
The victory for the winners was determined by goals from Iker Muniain, Igor Gabilondo, and Javi Martinez in the first half. Just before the final whistle, Javad Nekounam softened the result a bit.
"Osasuna" ended the match in inferiority: Rolandas Lamah received two yellow cards.
